Sakurada serves delicious Kushiyaki, Japanese style Shish Kebob that you grill yourself right at your own table, and features live Rakugo (comic story telling) performances in a casual atmosphere. Sakurada’s popular “Kushi Basket” offers a mouth-watering selection of 25 Kushi for a variety that’s sure to please every taste. Here at Sakurada, we use the old Edo-era word mon instead of yen to add another bit of fun to this unique restaurant.

As its name implies, this charming Italian restaurant features a beautiful courtyard, or “Giardino,” and the bricks that cover the exterior wall were once actually used in Italy. Located in a quiet neighborhood off the beaten path, Giardino serves authentic Italian dishes at a reasonable price in a warm and cozy atmosphere. Tasty pasta lunches are available from \1,300, and delicious full-course dinners are priced from \5,000. Giardino is a popular spot for parties, weddings and other special occasions.

Shiono features traditional Japanese-style sweets (from \158). Shiono has been a favorite of the priests at Sensoji temple, Asakusa Shrine, and Matsuchiyama Shoden temple since the Meiji era - over a hundred years ago! Each delicious Shiono cake is made by skilled hands from carefully-selected seasonal ingredients. Try Shiono’s popular soft azuki-bean jelly. It’s juicy but not too sweet.

All-you-can-eat buffet lunch (three kinds of curry, salad bar, saffron-rice, and nan) for just \880 from 11:30 AM to 3:00 PM weekdays and \1,000 on Saturdays, Sundays and national holidays. Shagorika also offers a special party menu for groups of more than four people. (Reservations required.)

Shun-no-ichi is always overflowing with seasonal foods brought in fresh from as far away as Hokkaido in the north and Okinawa in the south. There are lots of rare foods that you just won’t find anywhere else.
The shop is operated by the Asakusa Association of Okami, a group of proprietresses who run old-established restaurants and shops in Asakusa. They rightly pride themselves on being able to offer the newest and most interesting products through their nationwide network of Okami Associations.

Sushi-Hatsu first opened its doors on the “Sushiya-dori” street in 1910. Despite its long history and reputation as a first-class restaurant, Sushi-Hatsu still serves its delicious authentic sushi at affordable prices.
Choose from the Chirashi, Nigiri or Zuke-don (soy-sauce marinated tuna over rice) available at lunch for just \900. A small appetizer and shrimp flavored miso soup come with every lunch set.
The chef was born and raised right here in Asakusa and always has a hearty welcome waiting for you.
